Samsung Chromebook Plus/Pro

Samsung has released a few couple new chromebooks. The Samsung Chromebook Plus and the Samsung Chromebook pro. The Plus coming with a slower OP1 processor and the Pro with the core M3 processor and dedicated graphics. Other than that, they’re the same machine.

Dimensions and Screen

Both run the same dimensions 11.04 x 8.72 x 0.55 inches and screen size with the 12.3″ screen and a crisp 2400×1600 resolution.

On the surface, the OP1 on the Plus looks faster than the M3 because of the base clock speed but, the max frequency and hyper threading helps the m3 stay ahead of the OP1 by quite a bit, in some tests even closing on 300%.

Memory and storage

This Chromebook comes with 4GB of DDR3 and a 32GB SSD, allowing it to boot up in only seconds. With the MicroSD Multi-media Card Reader card reader you can certainly expand your storage capacity but, as all chromebooks do it comes 100gb of cloud storage on Google Drive.

Play Store

It ships with the Chrome OS and as such, you’ll have direct access to the Google Play Store.
